Our structure
The members of CECIMO are national associations of machine tool manufacturers of the European countries. Each country may only be represented by a single association.
Membership is only open to associations from European countries which are governed as market economy and which, in particular, guarantee free circulation of goods, capital and payments, possess a freely convertible currency, abide by the rules of the W.T.O. and grant unrestricted travelling rights to everyone at any time.
The Board (8 industrialists from the General Assembly) decides on CECIMO policies and directions taken by CECIMO.
Three Committees (Economic, Technical and Communication) are led by 3 Chairmen, industrialists elected by the General Assembly, who are responsible for the working plans carried out by the Secretariat.
Based in Brussels, the CECIMO Secretariat employs 6 people and is divided into two departments (Economic/Market Intelligence and Technical)
